Lost & Found
In an attempt to add a little green to the club, we would like to target the recycling of Lost & Found items that have built up in the container over the last 2 years (rain jackets, club tops & jackets, water bottles, shin guards, etc).. Most are junior items but there may be some adult items in there also. On Sunday 14th of Sept, from 10am to 1pm, the first Sunday of junior training, Lost & Found items will be presented at the pitch (or in the Club Room, if its wet). This will allow folks to check if any of the items are belonging to their kids or themselves, so they can be reclaimed. Anything unclaimed that day will either be sent to charity or be added to the Bring & Buy sale.

Bring & Buy
Many of you may have club gear and other useful hockey items around the house that are no longer in use or no longer fit. As a way to reuse-recycle, we are launching a first Bring & Buy sale at the club. On Sunday 21st Sept and 28th Sept from 10am to 1pm, people can bring items to the pitch (or in the Club Room, if its wet) to make them available for sale. Please do not bring items that are in poor condition or that are no longer suitable for use – they will not be accepted. Anyone can come along during these times to see if there are any items on sale that may be of interest to them or their kids for purchase., particularly those that may have outgrown their current club gear. All proceeds from the sale of items will be donated to a children’s charity.
